#101 You have a child from a previous relationship

Harry: “Hello?” you hear Harry’s voice ask on the other end of the line. Just the sound of it makes you smile. “Hey Harry, its Y/N” you say and you can picture him smile. “Hey babe, ready for tonight?” he asked, referring to your date. “Yeah, that’s what I called about. I’m not going to be able to make it tonight.” You say, without telling him the truth. Then he asks why you can’t go; the question you were dreading. “I’m not feeling well.” You lie. “Oh, I hope you feel better love, we’ll have to reschedule.” You nodded although he couldn’t see it. “Yeah, I’m so sorry.” “Don’t worry about it. I’ll call you later.” With that you hung up the phone and let out a sigh. You were really upset you had to cancel; it had been almost two weeks since you went out. You put your head in your hands as you sat on the couch. Suddenly you felt the spot next to you skin. Little hands were pulling on your shirt sleeve. You collected yourself before taking your hands away from your head and looking at your four year old daughter. “Mommy, what’s wrong?” She asks, looking sad. You pull her into your lap. “Nothing sweetheart.” You assure her, playing with her hair. That night you guys cook together and listen to her music and dance together, laughing constantly. Then the doorbell rings and Zoe runs to open it, with you close behind. Standing on your steps is Harry with some soup and medicine. You invite him in and sit with him on the couch and your daughter in your lap. “See I canceled our date because the sitter never showed up.” You explain, unable to make eye contact with him. “Why didn’t you tell me you had a daughter?” You shrugged your shoulders. “I didn’t know how you would react.” You say, playing with your daughter. Harry leaned over and kissed you. “I’ll love you know matter what, and this little cutie.” He says tickling Zoe.
Louis: “Mommy come on we have to go!” Your son Bentley squeals, pulling you towards the door. “Is Louis coming?” he stops to ask, looking up at you. “I’ve called him five times and he’s not answering.” You say, fiddling with your phone. “Oh, then we have to wait for him. Please?” he says, giving you puppy dog eyes. You look at your phone again for the time. “No hun, like you said, we have to go if you want to play.” Your son smiles up at you, his green baseball hat falling over his eyes. You pat him on the butt. “Come on.” You get out of the house, get into the car and drive all the way to the baseball field. The whole car ride is him asking if Louis has answered you. Every time you shake your head. You finally get there and watch Bentley run onto the field with his team. He’s doing great but you can tell he wished Louis was there. So do you. You keep calling him but nothing. Finally, during 6th inning, Louis shows up. He surprises you when he kisses you on the lips. “Aw, thank you for coming.” You say, staring into his eyes. “Sorry I’m late but I wouldn’t miss this for the world.” Bentley doesn’t even realize Louis’s there until he hits the winning home run. He turns to smile at you and his eyes brighten up when he sees Louis there, giving him a thumbs up. You turn to Louis and whisper in his ear, “You’re the only father figure in his life, your so much better than his real father. Don’t ever let him down, please.” You try to hold back the tears. He kisses the top of your head. “I will never leave either of you.” When the parents are allowed down on the field, you and Louis walk down hand in hand. Bentley starts running to you guys and into Louis’s arms. “Did you see it? Did you see it? I made the winning hit!” He was so happy. “I know buddy. It was awesome.” With that you guys headed home.
Niall: “But I’m not tired.” Gianna whines, all tucked up in her bed as you sat on the edge of it. “G, you have to go to sleep.” You say. “But I wanna see Niall.” She whined. “You’ll have plenty of other times to see Niall but it’s past your bed time. I love you, go to sleep.” You say, kissing her on your forehead, getting up and turning out the lights. You close her door just as the doorbell rings. You hurry downstairs and let Niall in. “What’s wrong?” he asks, seeing your expression. “I need to get you your own key.” You say. He laughs. “And why is that?” he asks, wrapping his arms around you. “So Gianna doesn’t know when you’re here. She’s up in bed. I told her she couldn’t see you tonight.” He wraps you in a hug and kisses your forehead. “Don’t worry, you’re a great mother. Come on, let’s eat.” You have a lovely dinner and later curl up on the couch to watch a movie. “You want some ice cream?” you ask. “This is why I love you.” Niall explained as you pecked him on the lips and went into the kitchen. Soon he heard little feet padding down the stairs. He turns on the couch to see Gianna standing with her teddy bear, rubbing her eyes. “Niall!” she says, her face brightening. He smiles. She runs over and crawls up into his lap. “Hi” she says as she plays with his nose. “What’s up my little princess?” he says making her laugh. She just shrugs her shoulders. “Niall, what does love mean?” she asked continuing to play with the buttons on his shirt. Niall was lost for words. “Uh..well..mm. uh.. Love is waking up thinking of someone and going to bed thinking of them...love is missing them as soon as they leave u...love is the butterflies that flutter in ur stomach wen u hear their voice. That’s what love is.” He says. She slowly looked up into his eyes. “Do you love me?” He laughs and replies with a yes. “Do you love Mommy?” “Yes.” He says. “Why doesn’t Daddy love Mommy?” This hits him hard. “Because he doesn’t know what love is.” “Oh.” That’s when you come in and tell Gianna to get back to bed. When she’s asleep you come back down stairs. “I hope she did-“ he cut you off with a long kiss and a “I love you.”
Zayn: “Zayn, I can’t make our date tonight.” You say, taking a deep breath. You want for his answer. “Why?” You didn’t want to lie to him; the love of your life. What should you do? Tell him the truth? “I, uh, I have a son Zayn. He’s from my late relationship which ended really badly. I’m sorry I never told you. He’s sick and I just can’t leave him.” You exhale loudly. This wasn’t the way you expected to tell Zayn, but it had to happen. You wished you weren’t on the phone and you could see his face. It made you nervous when he didn’t answer for a long time. “I..I want to meet him.” He says, which makes you smile. “When he’s better.” You answered. You continued to talk the rest of the night and soon hung up to go check on Dominic. About a week later, Zayn comes over your house. He rings the doorbell and you tell Dom to answer it. He does and just looks up at Zayn. “Hi.” He says. “Hi.” Dom says. “Who are you?” he asks. “Uh, your Mom’s friend.” he decided to answer. You rushed up to the door. “Hi Zayn.” “Hi bab- Y/N.” he says, giving you a look. You laugh a little at this. “Well, Dom, invite him in.” Your four year old son invites him in and soon your all sitting on the couch. “Zayn, this is my son Dominic. Dominic, this is Mommy’s special friend Zayn.” “That’s a cool name.” He exclaims. This causes another laugh from you guys. You hang out for a while when Zayn suggests you guys go to the zoo. “Oh that sounds fun, doesn’t Dominic?” You questions and he vigorously nods his head. “Good, go upstairs and pick out your clothes, I’ll be there in a minute.” He rushes upstairs to get ready to go to the zoo. “Thank you for being so good to him.” “You’re welcome babe.” He says, leaning to kiss you. Later at the zoo, Dom won’t leave Zayn’s side. You smile because he’s so good with him. When Dom can’t see the animal in the exhibit Zayn would lift him to see and he bought him a cool stuffed animal. Walking out of the zoo, Zayn holding his hand, Dom looks up at him. “Zayn, can you be my new daddy?” His eyes go big and look over at you. “Dom, you don’t ask things like that.” “But I really like him. I want him to be my new Daddy.” He whines. “Stop Dominic.” You say strictly. When you guys are getting into the car, Zayn whispers to Dom, “Maybe one day I’ll be your new daddy, ok?” Dom was really excited.
Liam: "I'm sorry it's so late." Is the first thing you say when Liam picks up the phone. You know you've woken him from a dead sleep. "It's no problem; what's up?" He replies in a groggy voice. "It's Scotty. I think he's sick. I don't know what to so." You say, tears almost falling. "Calm down; I'll be right over love." "Thank you." You squeaked before hanging up. You pull Scotty out of his crib and hold his little body to you. His nose is running and he has a fever; he's only 11 months old. Soon you hear the door opening and Liam call out through the house it's him. You loosen up a bit. He enters the room, giving you a quick kiss. "Now what's wrong with him?" You explain what he has and Liam calls up his mom real quick. You watch as you rock Scotty. Later he hangs up. "Just give him infants tylonal and some food then let him sleep it off." He explains. You smiled at him. "I love you. So much. I wouldn't know what to do without you." "Yes you would. Your doing great with him." He says looking down at Scotty. "I wish you were his dad. I can't stand Justin. He doesn't even want to be a part of Scotty's life. Is he just supposed to grow up without a dad?" You rant, a few tears spilling over due to the fact your still hormonal. Liam engulfs you in a hug. "Even if he didn't grow up with a father he would be a wonderful boy because of his mom, but he won't have to. As long as I'm alive he'll have a father." Your staring deeply into his eyes as he wipes the few tears and kisses your salty lips. "Thank you." You say. You guys then proceed down stairs to get the medicine for Scotty. After you give it to him and some food, you take him upstairs. You and Liam try to get him to sleep but its no use. Liam can see by the dim light how tired you he tells you to go to bed and he'll stay up with Scotty. You protest at first and head down the ball to your room. Before you get there you can here Liam's beautiful voice singing your son a lullaby and you know he's going to sleep.
Josh: The most perfect night of your life was coming to an end. It was your 6th date with Josh, the drummer of one direction. He picked you up earlier, took you to an amusement park on the pier, followed by a walk on the beach and a homemade dinner. You were sad it was coming to an end. Lost on the moment, sharing a kiss on your doorstep as he was dropping you off, you asked him if he wanted to go inside. As you wondered in, you realized the place was a mess with your daughters toy and clothes. You hung your head as Josh looked around shocked. "What would you say if I told you I have a daughter..." He was speechless. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. I didn't want to scare you off cause I really like you." He finally got the strength to talk "It wouldn't have change anything." He said, you kissing him again. That's when the babysit burst into the room with your daughter. "Oh Miss Y/L/C, your home. I really he to go to my moms. Sorry, she overslept and I need got to feed her. I'll see you next Friday." She collected her pay and dashed out. Madison screamed in your arms, hungry. "Josh I'm sorry. I gotta go, I'll call you tomorrow?" You kissed him and walked away but he just stayed in place. He took a few steps forward. "No I want to stay. I want to help you." You got Madison in her high chair and got her food. Josh watched as you fed her. “Do you want to?” you questioned, looking into his eyes. He nodded his head and filled the spoon with fruit. He tried giving it to Madison but she wouldn’t take it. You turned around to get her some milk and when you turned around you saw Josh covered in mashed strawberries. “Uh… I don’t think she likes me.” He said. “Aww. Madison you don’t do that.” You scolded. With a rag you clean some of him off and tell him to take a shower. Later, you were sitting on the couch with Josh and an almost sleeping Madison. “You want to hold her?” you asked and he reluctantly nodded. Soon she was fast asleep on him. “Don’t worry, she likes you. She throws her food at me all the time.” You say causing you to laugh. “She’s beautiful. Would you tell me how it happened?” He asked. “Sure, I was at a party. I was pretty wasted. My ex boyfriend somehow got me in bed. I found out a couple weeks later. I never told him; he doesn’t need to know. We were exs then, he wouldn’t come into her life. It’s better if she doesn’t know him.” “Well she’ll know me, and that’s all that matters.” He leans over and kisses you.
